Kurashiki Municipal Board of Education  / Native English Teacher

  • Created and implemented lessons for grades three through six as the head English teacher at five elementary schools

      • Created a flow chart and seating arrangements to fit everyone in the dining hall in an efficient and comfortable manner

Uwajima City Board of Education  / Assistant Language Teacher 

June 2014 - April  2017,  Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan

  • Prepare students for English speech competitions, from creation to presentation

    • Successfully guided first place team, who also won a trip to the British Consulate in Tokyo to perform their speech

  • Compiled and produced materials to promote studying abroad for the junior high schoolers in Uwajima City

  • Organized a pen-pal program between students learning Japanese in Hawaii and students learning English in Uwajima
